Operations Dashboard | Security Business Operations - 2024
The idea behind this dashboard was to give operations managers the ability to track the performance of their security operations at any given site. We were brainstorming what it might look like to incorporate machine learning, i.e. "TrackBot" that could evaluate your operations and give you insights into your KPIs and how you could achieve them. We already had a data analytics suite with all the data endpoints in the back-end, so it was going to come down to training an AI model for this purpose.
This was still in the early discovery phase as something that would be showcased as a concept later in the year.

The previous version of this security workforce management application was used by operations managers to track and monitor their day-to-day operations. After some on-site interviews with of our clients and observing them at work, we learned that one of their biggest pain points was the lack of a holistic view of their operations at a given location. This revised dashboard removed unnecessary noise and quickly gave them the most critical information regarding their daily operations to empower them to make informed decisions with ease.
There is an employee turnover rate of over 70% in the security industry, so giving managers the ability to see their top performers to make sure they're compensated to keep them around was something I believed they would benefit from.
